Hello everyone out there in CPW... I am not going to lie when I say that I am nothing short of excited. I thought my wrestling career was going to be done with. The last company that I was part of closed down and before I really started to pick up steam, but enough about the prologue because everyone wants to know what’s going to go down now. What is going to happen is this week I have the chance to restart my career again. I have the chance to actually go out to that ring and compete with a chance at ascending to the very top. I have a shot at becoming the Siren’s Champion.
To start things off it seems like there will be a tourney filled with 8 Sirens who are all competing for the very same thing. They are all competing for the right to become the first ever Champion and it’s an honor that I would like to have as my own. Last time I made a huge wrestling debut inside a tournament I shocked the entire world by eliminating a well established veteran and I advanced further into the tournament.
A moment like that is what I am looking for... I am looking to do unthinkable things that are able to capture the audience within the palm of my hand. I really am looking forward to having a good match however this week I don’t think I am going to get that because I have to deal with this self proclaimed Queen of Ebonics. I have to deal with a woman who prides herself off of living on the streets and the only thing that she can speak negatively about me is the fact that I am a College Graduate...
Well I am sorry if I actually know how to make a living outside the ring. I am sorry if I actually prided myself into going to college to further my education. I am sorry if I became a nurse so I could help those who need help the most. Instead of trying to fire stones at me and pick me apart for asinine reasons did you ever take the chance to maybe look in the mirror and gain at your own sense of problems Melody?
I read your bio and you seem like a good girl. It’s not easy getting into Julliard and the fact that you graduated from there with double Bachelors in Fine Arts degrees is absolutely wonderful but what are you really doing with those degrees?
I don’t understand how an intelligent woman like yourself can go from attending such a prestigious school to be the cliche stereotypical joke waiting to happen. The kind of idiotic people that I see in those crazy in society or home boys in the hood movies or whatever they are called. I really don’t pay attention to that kind of stuff because to be blunt I don’t want to associate with that type of environment.
Maybe if this was the early 90s that lifestyle would be in but the world is far too expensive for people to just sit around and do nothing all day. Melody I want to take you seriously I really do but you just seem like a woman who doesn’t have her priorities in the right place. You are a woman who is living your life like we are wrapped up in one of those old gangsta ebonic movies and it’s just sickening... You need some help Melody so please let me be a good nurse and let me help you...
It’s my job after all... No matter what happens I must make it through you... I have to find my way to the next round. I have to get closer to my dream of finally becoming a champion. You are the first thing in my way and I won’t stop until I beat you Melody...
See you out there... Good luck sweetie....
{Our scene opens up and this time we find ourselves at the Charlotte home of the Warren’s. We hover in on Cindy Warren sitting down on her couch watching the movie “Boyz in the Hood” She is watching it intently as she runs her fingers through her hair before standing up and she shakes her head in disgust.}
Cindy: What is the premise behind these movies?! I don’t understand how someone can just “smoke” someone... I thought they only did that kind of stuff during the Salem Witch Trials...
{James walks onto the scene and he seems a bit befuddled as he glances at his wife who is pacing back and forth around the room.}
James: What the hell are you doing Cindy?!
Cindy: It’s quite obvious... I am trying to decipher this Homeys in the Hood movie and they keep mentioning the phrase smoke someone... When they say smoke someone are they referring to smoking a cigarette in front of someone to death? Or are they going to like burn them... I just don’t understand... How am I supposed to beat Melody if I can’t understand her...
{James however can only giggle as he stares at his wife.}
Cindy: What is so funny?! Are you taking in humor in me trying to figure out my opponent... I know how stuff like this works... In medical school I would study tapes on different types of things and I would pick on different things within a second... This Melody however seems to be a tad different...
James: Cindy... I know you are just a simple girl of white descent from a suburban community in Charlotte but smoke me’s to kill someone... Usually done in a drive by...
Cindy: Drive by?!
James: Yes... You see Cindy in the hood.... Hood not being a part of a car but like a barrio... A neighborhood that isn’t so pleasant. When people get upset at one another they can no longer settle their problems by mere conversation so the decide they have they have to take a homeboy out...
{Cindy ponders that phrase as she looks at James scratching her head.}
Cindy: What exactly is a homeboy... Is it one of those guys who like work in a house... You know like someone who cleans and does whatever that the person in charge tells them to do?
James: Cindy I know you are fighting Melody but come on... That’s no reason to diss her people...
Cindy: How am I making fun of her? Since when did Melody become a butler... I really don’t understand...
James: Yeah, can tell... Cindy I....You.... Just stop watching the movies... You wouldn’t understand....Why don’t you focus on just wrestling your own match and countering whatever she throws at you.... I don’t think watching these “black” movies are going to do anything for you...
Cindy: How is the movie considered a black movie? I don’t understand... I didn’t know a movie could be a certain color...
James: Never mind Cindy... Never mind... Just go watch after Terra... You wouldn’t understand...
{James walks away leaving Cindy alone by herself in the movie as she stares at the movie “Menace 2 Society” She shrugs her shoulders before she puts the dvd into the player and begins to study some more as we fade out on this image.}
