I know I did not give my best effort at Undisputed, and I'm upset about it. I can only be mad at myself, because I know in my heart, I'm better than that. I know I can go out in that ring and wrestle better than Davey Ortega. I know I can outwork Davey Ortega, and I know I can BEAT Davey Ortega.
It's just that at Undisputed, I didn't. And that's something I just can't live with. Whenever I get my next shot, I'm going to defeat Davey Ortega and take away that North American title, because I know I can do it. It's not how many times you fall, it's how many times you get up, and I'm always going to get up, it's in my blood, in my bones. In my DNA. Davey Ortega is going to have to kill me in order to stop me from taking the North American title.
But that's the future, and the present is the World Champion Adam Knite, and Fergus Callaghan. I know these two will be tough, Adam is the World Champion for a reason, and Fergus took him to the limit. So this match is not going to be easy.
Adam, being the world champion is a huge honor, and you certainly have the pedigree to hold that title, the resume that you possess is long and impressive. But that does not make you unbeatable. It doesn't make you better. The name of the game is wrestling, and that's what I do better than anyone on the planet. You may be the "King" of Wrestling, but I'm the best. And I will prove that fact to you on CPW TV.
Fergus, you seemed to have simply lucked out and been along for the ride because you got humiliated in your own hometown with everything on the line. Those fans deserved better. Those fans deserved a man with the drive and dedication to get the job done. That man is me. It's not Davey, that's for damn sure. If you are looking for redemption, don't look for it in this match, because all you'll find is a submission loss messing with me.
