Hiya guys and gals!
This is Penny Brooks, CPW's lead interviewer and part-time super sleuth. And in between eating pizza and taking care of my dog, I bring these little snippets of what I like to call, Penny's Thoughts. Just what, I think about the happens of CPW. So, without further ado... here we go.
- The first week of CPW wrestling is in the books, and I am pleasantly surprised by the output of the CPW superstars and sirens. They really put forth a great show, minus a few bad apples that tried to spoil the bunch. But hey, it was exciting, and interesting, and pretty hilarious.
- Is it just me, or is Mr. Reagan kind of off his rocker? I mean, I admire Gib as much as the next person, but seriously, Gib is old. I would think if you wanted a person who could lead your company into the future, I wouldn't pick Gib. Just saying.
- And how cool is it that Zelda Knite is in CPW? I'm just saying, she's amazing, and right now, has to be the odds on favorite to become the first CPW Siren's champion.
- And if I had to guess, I think we're going to see big things from Josh Stevens. Really big. He may not become the whole "face of the company" but I've heard the guy is awesome in the ring.
-Speaking of which, good luck to Chase Owens dealing with that live bear. I hope nothing goes wrong.
Well, I guess it's time for my predictions for this week. So let's get it going.
Fergus Callghan/Adam Knite vs. Kevin Allen & Craig Jacobs
It's a pick'em if there ever was one. But, since I'm on the spot, I'll go with my gut. Kevin and Adam are both ring veterans and can lead their teams to victory. But Fergus really stepped up his game last week, and Craig Jacobs did enough to get by, so I'll have to take Adam and Fergus.
Roxi Johnson vs. Cynthia Warren
I like both of these ladies. Cynthia because, golly she's a registered nurse. She saves lives. But I guess Roxi Johnson does that too, since she's a real-life superhero. It's going to be tough, but I'm going with Roxi on this one.
Zelda Knite vs. Mercedes Vargas
I love Zelda. She's awesome. And Mercedes is as tough as they come. I said before that Zelda is the odds on favorite, so Mercedes will have to play spoiler in order to get the job done. Mercedes was very impressive in her first match in CPW and Zelda took it to Angel Kash. I'm sticking with my guns and prediciting Zelda to win it all.
Josh Stevens vs. Jake Wakefield
These guys both had bad nights last week, Jake was bounced from world title contention, and Josh got yelled at for being Canadian. With the added stipulation that Josh could be entered into the TV title match I think made them hungry. I'll say Josh in hungrier since Jake already had a shot and bumbled it.
Connor Michaels & Cyrus Grey vs. Reckless Justice
Cyrus and Justice Hawx had pretty good chemistry last week, and they will get a crack at each other again at Undisputed for the TV title, Connor Michaels is a wildcard, and there's no telling what he will do in this match. But, I'm going to say that the Team that has teamed together before will pull it out. Plus, Reckless Justice is a cool name.
Chase Owens vs. Hexx.
Poor Hexx. Baring anything crazy happening, I have to give the match Chase, he's got all the tools. Plus, he'll have a bear...
Well, that's it for this week edition. Check back next week for another edition of Penny's Thoughts. As for now, it's Pizza time!
